We have received notice that the following road works, and temporary road closures:
- Church Hill and Crayke Lane (Oulston Road) as far as Chesler Pit Lane
NY Highways issued the following notice:
PLANNED ROAD RESTRICTION NOTIFICATION – Church Hill Crayke & Crayke LaneLocation: Church Hill and Crayke Lane, between junction with Chesler Pit Lane and junction with West Way
Maintenance of the cobble channels at Church Hill (20 May to 24 June) will be undertaken using phased traffic lights and the road will remain open, however it will be necessary to close the road to accommodate the patching and resurfacing works 25 Jun to 04 July. During the closure of Church hill, If you usually park your vehicle on the carriageway within the work extents, please make arrangements to park your vehicle at an alternative location during site working hours.
The Restriction will be in place for a period of 8 days between 25th June 2024 and 4th July 2024 (no weekend working)

- Crayke Lane (Oulston Road) between Rookery Lane and Myra Lane
NY Highways issued the following notice:
PLANNED ROAD RESTRICTION NOTIFICATION – Crayke Lane, CraykeDescription of works: Carriageway Patching Works between Myra Lane junction and junction with Rookery Lane.
On-site personnel will assist in managing access to properties within the closure however, please be advised that there may be extended periods when vehicular access will not be possible due to the nature of the works and the physical constraints of the site. Pedestrian access will be maintained.
The Restriction will be in place for a period of 4 days between 3rd June 2024 and 6th June 2024
